Our route across the United States began in San Francisco, CA on September 9th, and finished in Colombia, SC on December 10th.

Based on a series of cross-country bike routes designed by Adventure Cycling Association, our route was designed to take us to as many public lands as possible. These lands include National Parks, National Monuments, National Forests, State Parks, Wildlife Areas, and more.

Some of the federal public lands we visited, if not all of them, were

Golden Gate National Recreation Area, CA
Eldorado National Forest, CA
Great Basin National Park, NV
Dixie National Forest, UT
Zion National Park, UT
Red Cliffs National Conservation Area, UT
Cedar Breaks National Monument, UT

Over the course of the ride, we GeoTagged photos to an online, interactive map each day. This allowed followers to see how far along in the route we are, as well as let them explore the sites of the country right along with us.
